A Crucifixion Convert

Did you ever wonder what happened to the Roman Centurion who stabbed the side of Christ? Nicknamed, "Longinus" by early Christians, this man was overwhelmed upon the death of Jesus. As the earth quaked and saints were raised, he proclaimed "Truly this was the Son of God!" (Mt. 27:54)

Another Crucifixion Convert was Dismas - the penitent revolutionary crucified with Christ.   ~Luke 23:39-43

Feast of St. Longinus:  October 16
(formerly March 15)
