Saint Rufus

Saint Rufus was one of the many people Paul greeted in his Letter to the Romans.  Not much is known about Rufus, but it is suggested by some that he was the son of Simon the Cyrenian - the man who carried the cross of Christ for a while.  It is also plausible that Rufus was among those who greeted Paul upon his arrival in Rome.
