The Three Wise Men Saints

The Adoration Of The Three Wise Men
Cologne Cathedral

"Where is the newborn king of the Jews?
We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage."
~ Matthew 2:2

Entry On July 24 Page Of The Roman Martyrology

It's been a long time since I have studied Latin (1973-1975), however, with the help of a priest who also knows some Latin, it seems that July 24 was set aside as a day to honor the relics of Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar (nicknames for the Magi) being traslated/delivered to Cologne Cathedral in Germany in 1162/1164.
