Saint Lydia ~ Welcoming the Way of Christ into Europe

Saint Lydia was one of the first people Paul met when he felt called to go into Macedonia.  She was at a riverbank with some other women when Paul and Silas approached.  Lydia's heart stirred at Paul's preaching about Christ; she was baptized, had her household baptized, and encouraged the men to stay at her home.
