The Three Wise Men ~ Searchers of Truth and Goodness

The Three Wise Men
Many claim that the Magi, or Wise Men, were Zoroastrian priests.  Because three gifts were brought, many have assumed that there were three Wise Men and eventually, names were assigned to these searchers: Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthazar.

The Feast Day of the Three Wise Men is July 24, a day set aside to honor the transfer of their relics to Cologne, Germany in 1162.
