Saint Aristarchus ~ A Thessalonian and Friend to an Imprisoned Paul

An Ancient Forum in Thessalonica
Saint Aristarchus is a person whose name appears now and then in the New Testament.  Originally from Thessalonica, he did a good deal of missionary work with Paul and then accompanied Paul during his journey to Rome for one of Paul's imprisonments.  Some claim that he eventually returned to Thessalonica to shepherd the Church there.   It is plausible that he knew Jason who was also from Thessalonica.
